KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has indicated that western winds are currently dominating the weather across the country, with some influence from local winds as well.

The Division reports that the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, are experiencing mainly clear weather, while the rest of the country is partly cloudy.

Light rain is occurring in one or two places in the Karnali region.

This afternoon, the weather will shift to partly cloudy to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions.

There is a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two locations within the hilly regions.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear in the hilly areas, with partly cloudy conditions prevailing elsewhere.

Light rain may occur in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki.
