CPN-Maoist Center Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal have said that he will not appoint anyone as Home Minister until the full text of the verdict that Rabi Lamichhane's citizenship is illegal comes out.
Prime Minister, who has also held the responsibility of the Home Ministry, is not going to make Lamichhane a Home Minister immediately.
Last Friday, the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court ruled that Rabi Lamichhane's citizenship was illegal and dismissed him from the position of MP, Deputy Prime Minister, and Home Minister. However, the National Independent Party led by Lamichhane and some parties in power is putting pressure on Prime Minister to make Lamichhane a home minister again. Lamichhane received his Nepali citizenship certificate again on Sunday.
The leaders have also suggested to the Chairman and Prime Minister not to appoint anyone as Home Minister immediately in the official meeting.
