Police arrested a woman on charge of killing her husband from Narayan Municipality-11 in Dailkeh district.

The deceased has been identified as Khagendra Malla (35) while the accused has been identified as Sushila Malla (32). The couple had been living in Narayan Municipality-11.

Sushila hit her husband on the head with a hammer which led to him being severely injured. Khagendra died while he was being rushed to the district hospital for treatment. Joint security personnel deployed from the Dailkeh-based District Police Office (DPO) and Lohore-based Temporary Police Post nabbed Sushila after receiving information about the incident this morning.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed DPO, Dailkeh.
