Police arrested a youth on charge of raping a 55-year-old woman from Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-9 in Makawanpur district.

The accused has been identified Bharat Thapa Magar (24) of Lamsure Dada in Hetauda-9.

Magar allegedly raped the woman and was abscodning since then. Acting on a tip-off, Pashupatinagar-based Area Police Office nabbed Magar on Saturday evening.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
