Police apprehended a youth on charge of stealing a motorcycle from Kapilvastu Municipality-1 in Kapilvastu district.
The arrested has been identified as Toufik Pathan (21) of Goudhichowk in the same municipality.
Pathan allegedly stole the motorcycle with registration number BA 72 PA 6311 belonging to Mohammed Wajiha Arshad on June 7.
Kapilvastu-based District Police Office (DPO) personnel nabbed Pathan with the stolen motorcycle during a routine vehicle check on Friday. During the check, police found Pathan was riding the motorcycle without the legal documents.
Pathan has been charged under a theft case and further investigation into the case is being carried out, informed DPO, Kapilvastu.
