Police in Makawanpur district on Wednesday arrested a youth in possession of 34 kilograms of illegal drugs in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-2.
The arrestee has been identified as Rabindra Upadhyaya (29) of Bindabasini Rural Municipality-3, in Parsa district.
A team of security personnel deployed from Bhaise-based police post seized a huge cache of illegal drugs during a security check conducted on the vehicle (Na 1 Ja 4733) at Bhaise.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway said police.
