Youth Thinkers’ Society, a youth-led and youth-driven organisation is dedicated to educating and empowering Nepal’s young leaders and changemakers through various youth empowerment and community development projects.
It not only organises MUNs (Model United Nations) ranging from the school level to an international level, but also believes in promoting and encouraging young minds to learn about UN proceedings. Other areas of emphasis include Policy Literacy, Policy Advocacy and Civic Engagement. It provides a forum for students to practice debating, hones their persuasive skills, develops critical thinking, and learn the art of diplomacy along with fun.
Thinkers' Model UN began as a virtual conference in 2020, with the goal of engaging 100+ youth from around the world in a solution-oriented dialogue on global affairs and relevant issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thinkers' MUN Inter-School Edition 2022 will be a three-day non-residential conference, with delegates from all over Nepal expected to attend. It is a Model United Nations paradigm in which students from various backgrounds express their concern for sharing their ideas, finding solutions, and answering global issues through dialogue, debate, and discussion.
