KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has protested the government’s decision to remove Kulman Ghising from the Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Issuing a press release today, party vice-president and spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota urged the government to withdraw the decision to remove Ghising from the Executive Director.
“The decision is aimed at creating psychological fear among all skilled administrators performing with honesty and integrity. Our party strongly demands the immediate withdrawal of such a decision”.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) has objected to the decision to remove Ghising, saying that there was a sponsored propaganda about the party.
“The party rejects the propaganda against the party president by linking it to the agreement to form a commission on investigation of disappeared persons and the formation of a commission on truth and reconciliation,” the statement said.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) has warned all not to be misled by such propaganda and warned to immediately stop such propaganda that creates confusion among the commoners.
