Nepali Congress‘ Ram Krishna Chitrakar won under the Province Assembly from Lalitpur constituency-2.

Chitrakar, a candidate from the ruling alliance got 6,995 votes against 6,832 votes garnered by his closest rival Gyanendra Shakya from the CPN (UML), according to the election officer Dipshikha Munakarmi.
