A meeting of the Central Security Committee chaired by Home Minister, Bal Krishna Khand has discussed about the proposed local level election security management and preparations.
Home Ministry Spokesperson Fadindra Mani Pokharel informed that the meeting discussed about the security management and current security situation in the local level election proposed by the Election Commission for May 18.
During the meeting, Rathi Bal Krishna Karki of the Nepal Army, Inspector General of Nepal Police Shailesh Thapa, Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal and Chief Investigation Director of the National Investigation Department Yadulal Kharel expressed their views on the security equipment and security arrangements required for the election.
