LUMBINI: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said the federal democracy is not only a structure but also a unique governance system.

Inaugurating the eighth general convention of the Federation of Indigenous Nationalities’ Journalists of Nepal (FONIJ) in Lumbini here Friday, he said the federal democratic republic has been brought for inclusion of all sides in governance.

Minister Gurung said no kind of anarchy could prevail in a democracy and the government will leave no stone unturned to frustrate such anarchy.

He informed that those involved in the violent demonstrations that took place at Tinkune, Kathmandu on March 28 were brought to book.

According to Minister Gurung, cyber security is the priority of the government, as various criminal incidents had taken place on and via social media.

On a different note, Minister Gurung claimed that Nepali people will not accept monarchy again.
