Discussions have started between the top leaders of the ruling party and the members of the task force that has prepared the minimum common program of the government. The government has held discussions with the members of the task force at the PM's residence in Baluwatar before announcing the minimum common program.
A task force comprising leaders of Congress, Maoist Center and JSPA had prepared a report on the government's common minimum program and submitted it to the top leaders on August 8. The joint program covers the code of conduct of the ministers, priorities of the government, strengthening of federalism and other issues.
