An agreement was reached among the ruling alliance parties regarding the government's Common Minimum Programme (CMP).
Discussion was held among the parties regarding the topics of the government's Common Minimum Programme in today's meeting of the ruling alliance held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar, said General-Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Dev Prasad Gurung.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Gurung shared, "Agreement was reached on the issues related to democracy, nationality, people's livelihood and good governance. There is a schedule to unveil the CMP at 5:00 pm today."
The parties associated with the incumbent alliance are active to make Common Minimum Programme with the change in erstwhile ruling alliance after the Presidential election.
Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Chairperson of Nepal Socialist Party, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Chairperson of Nagarik Unmukti Party and Minister for Land management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Ranjita Shrestha, leader of Loktantrik Samajbadi Party and Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sarat Singh Bhandari, among others were present on the occasion.
