HoR meeting postponed to February 16

The meeting of the House of Representatives is rescheduled to be held on February 16 at 1 pm. Secretary-General of the Federal Parliament Dr. Bharatraj Gautam has informed today that the meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for 14th February has been postponed to Wednesday.

As the meeting scheduled for February 14 cannot be held on that day and time due to special reasons, it is mentioned in the notice fixed by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota as per sub-rule 3 of rule 6 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2018/19.

CPN (UML) had requested the Speaker to adjourn the meeting. On Saturday, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba was advised by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal to move the meeting as per the demand of the opposition.
