CPN (Unified Socialist) leader Dr. Duman Thapa has passed away at the age of 62 last night. Dr. Thapa was active as a member of the party's Election Commission.
Dr. Thapa, who has a doctorate in agriculture from the United States, was elected from Arghakhanchi Constituency No. 2 in the second Constituent Assembly election. He will be cremated at Aryaghat in Pashupatinath today.
