Senior leader of CPN UML,  Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that it is up to the leadership whether to build on or ruin the party.

The disgruntled leader satirically said, “Dark clouds are hovering the communist movement in the country. We must move ahead wading through those dark clouds.”
Nepal, also the former Prime Minister argued that a good successor should be born out of youth and said that he was taught that no one should run away from the ground whatever the circumstances.
He claimed that the public would vote the communists to the leadership role in governance if they were to review their weakness and go to public correcting their flaws.
On the occasion, ‘1001-member People’s Volunteer’ campaign was announced. The campaign led by Shiva Shrestha will train the volunteers imbibing qualities like diligence, devotion, commitment and working in the best interest of the country and countrymen.
Similarly, CPN UML Standing Committee Member Raghuji Panta voiced for respectable unity in the party and spoke of the need for party leadership to enable an environment of trust.
