In Rautahat 1, CPN United Samajwadi Party Chairman, Madhav Kumar Nepal has successfully won.

He defeated CPN-UML‘s Ajay Gupta by a margin of 7,000 votes.

Nepal got 33 thousand 522 votes. His rival Gupta of UML got 26 thousand 522 votes.
