Manushi Bhattarai Yami has registered her candidacy on behalf of the alliance in Kathmandu region number 7.
She took the Maoist election and rose to the polls. Her father, former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, did not become a candidate in the by-election this time.
Her mother Hisila Yami won from the 7th constituency in the House of Representatives elections few years ago.
