Purna Bahadur Gharti Magar of the Maoist Center has won as a member of the House of Representatives from Rukum East.
He got 12 thousand 262 votes.
His nearest competitor, Kailash Kumar Malle of CPN-UML has got 5 thousand 211 votes. Gharti was earlier the speaker of Lumbini region. He has also worked as the chairman of Nepal Television.
