The mass gathering has been organised by the faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by chairman KP Sharma Oli in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu today.
Chairman of the Bagmati Province Committee Ananda Prasad Pokharel informed that the road on the south gate of the Narayanhiti Durbar Museum has been selected so as not to cause traffic congestion in the capital city. He said that activists and supporters from all 13 districts of Kathmandu and Bagmati would participate in the public meeting.
Ministers and leaders including the Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli are scheduled to address the mass gathering at 12:00 pm. It is said that processions will be taken out from different places of Kathmandu Valley before assembling at Durbarmarga.
Rallies are being held from Baghbazar, Pradarshani Marg, Mahendra Shalik East, Ghantaghar, in front of Nepal Airlines Corporation building, Tripureshwor, Gaushala, Maitighar, Putalisadak, Lanchaur, Sohrakhutte New Road, Teku, Basantapur, Sohrakhutte, Gyaneshwar, Old Baneshwor, and other places.
