A Central Committee meeting of the ruling coalition party CPN-Maoist is being held at 2 pm.
The meeting of the CPN (M) Central Committee, which started on Friday, March 4, has resumed today. In the previous meeting, party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal had presented a report on current political issues. The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project, which has been approved by the Parliament, was discussed as well.
In the meeting, leaders including Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Lilamani Pokhrel had different views on MCC.
According to Shri Ram Dhakal, Chief Secretary of the CPN (M) Central Office, discussions will be held today on the organization, completion of the working committee and local level elections.
The meeting scheduled for 11 am today has been postponed for some time due to the need for further internal discussions in the party.
