Multiple UML and Congress leaders join CPN (Maoist Centre)

About two dozen leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress and (CPN-UML) parties have joined the CPN (Maoist Centre) party today. The newcomers were welcomed to the party by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' at a program today.

On the occasion, Dahal said that there was a wave of people from different parties coming to join his party.

Among those who have entered the party are CPN-UML leaders and cadres including Kameshwar Prasad Sah Kanu, a candidate for the post of ward chairman and executive member of Maulapur Municipality in Rautahat district. Similarly, Nepali Congress activist Jayaraj Bhatt, businessman Bishnu Bhatt, and Binod Prasad Bhatt joined the Maoist from the Sudur Paschim (Far-West province).
