KATHMANDU: Today’s meeting of the National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, has started.

In today’s meeting, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee Tulsa Kumari Dahal is scheduled to present the Committee’s report on ‘Banking Offences and Punishment (Second Amendment) Bill, 2080 BS’.

Similarly, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidya Bhattarai is scheduled to present a proposal to send the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081 BS to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussion.

Education Minister Bhattarai is also scheduled to present a proposal to discuss the Tilganga Ophthalmological University Bill, 2081 BS along with the report of the Legislation Management Committee.

A proposal for the passage of the bill will also be presented in today’s meeting of the National Assembly, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
