The selection process of new leadership from the Nepali Congress District Convention in Bara has been postponed. On the other hand, Saturday's vote for the leadership selection has also been canceled.
The Nepali Congress in Bara has issued a statement saying that the entire voting process has been canceled till further notice due to widespread irregularities in the polling.
A meeting has been called at the election office to fix the date of polling.
