Nepali Congress leader Shashank Koirala has won from Nawalparasi for the fourth consecutive time.

Koirala won with a margin of 2,082 votes in the midst of fierce competition. Coalition candidate Koirala got 27,126 votes while Krishna Prasad Paudel of CPN UML got 25,044 votes.
