Newly appointed ambassadors take oath of office and secrecy

KATHMANDU: The newly appointed five ambassadors to various countries have taken an oath of office and secrecy in the presence of President Ramchandra Paudel.

In the oath-taking ceremony held at the Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas today, President Paudel administered the oath to the newly appointed ambassadors for Portugal, Malaysia, South Africa, Belgium and Denmark.

Prakashmani Poudel, the Ambassador designate to Portugal; Dr Netra Prasad Timilsina, the Ambassador designate to Malaysia; Prof Dr Kapilman Shrestha, the Ambassador designate to South Africa; Sewa Lamsal, the Ambassador designate to Belgium; and Sumnima Tuladhar, the Ambassador designate to Denmark took the oath of office and secrecy before the Head of the State.

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed ambassadors to four various countries amidst a special ceremony organized at the Office of the President today.

The newly appointed ambassador to the United States of America (USA), Lok Darshan Regmi, the newly appointed ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Germany, Dr Shail Rupakheti, the newly appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr Naresh Bikram Dhakal and the newly appointed ambassador to Australia Chitralekha Yadav took oath before the President on the occasion.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba and high officials of the Government of Nepal were present on the occasion.
