Members of the House of Representatives elected from the by-election, Rabi Lamichhane, and Dr. Swarnim Wagle, have taken oath. Another MP, Upendra Yadav, was absent from the oath-taking ceremony as he was out of Kathmandu.
In the by-election, Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, was elected from Chitwan 2 and Dr. Swarnim Wagle from Tanahun 1.
