Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ held a meeting with CPN (UML) Chairperson, KP Sharma Oli, to make the Parliament’s upcoming session effective.
During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, they discussed various issues, including completing the remaining task of the peace process and the bill related to transitional justice, said PM Dahal’s press advisor Govinda Acharya.
The winter session of both houses of the Federal Parliament is commencing on February 5.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar and the two leaders held discussions on contemporary topics including the meeting of the Constitutional Council, said Manahari Timilsina, the Prime Minister’s Press Expert.
Recommendation for the appointment of the Chief Justice has not moved ahead as the Constitutional Council is not in consensus. Prime Minister Dahal had called a meeting of the Constitutional Council on Wednesday morning, but it could not make a decision despite having discussed on making recommendation for appointment of the Chief Justice.
