LALITPUR: Prime Minister KP Oli has criticized the opposition for their ongoing efforts to tarnish the government’s image and spread false information.

In his address at the national convention of the Progressive Engineering Association in Kupandol, Lalitpur, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli affirmed that the government remains dedicated to addressing key issues and fulfilling its responsibilities.

“Some individuals are working to undermine the national goal of achieving a ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepalis,’ but this is to be expected,” said Prime Minister Oli.

He added, “The role of the legitimate, constitutional opposition should be constructive and realistic. However, it seems they are more focused on discrediting the government and others, concealing the truth, and spreading lies.”
