KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has called for an all-party meeting to take place this evening at his official residence in Baluwatar.

Mahesh Bartaula, the ruling party’s chief whip, mentioned that the meeting is being held to discuss the latest developments.

Leaders from CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, and Unified Socialists have been invited to participate.

Bartaula clarified that Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is currently outside the valley but is expected to return this evening.

“We will begin the meeting as soon as he arrives,” he added.

This will be the first time the pro-republican parties have met following the pro-monarchy protest in Tinkune, Kathmandu, on Friday.
