Rastriya Swatantra Party to quit the government

The Rastriya Swatantra Party has decided to leave the government immediately. Today, in the joint meeting of the Central Committee and the Parliamentary Party held at the party office, there was a discussion about continuing in the government or not. The party decided to separate from the government after Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of the party, was not made a minister and the home ministry was not given to the party.

He went and met Prime Minister Puspa Kamal Dahal to resign as MP. And in the press meet Chairman Lamichhane talked about running in the next election only if the public would want him to. He stated how there are so many cases that the media needed to focus on, however they focused on his case and destroyed his character. 

Lamichhane explained how there was a "conflict of interest" and how he was the on who went on with the process of citizenship and not because of someone else.
