Shishir Khanal of the National Independent Party has been elected in Kathmandu Constituency No. 6.
He defeated his nearest competitor CPN-UML candidate former IGP Sarbendra Khanal by 5,293 votes. Khanal got 14 thousand 204 votes while UML’s Khanal got 8 thousand 911 votes.
