KATHMANDU: Concluding that the ordinances were issued as per the need, the ruling parties have shared a common viewpoint on the ordinances.
During a meeting of the ruling parties at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar this evening, the top leaders of different parties from the ruling coalition agreed to pass the replacement bill from the winter session of the Federal Parliament.
The meeting was summoned by Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli to discuss about the preparations of ruling alliance in the upcoming winter session of the Federal Parliament and government’s effective performance.
CPN UML’s Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula said the ruling parties’ meeting decided to share their common views in a strong, effective and constructive way. “If anything more to be discussed, Prime Minister Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and other top leaders would be consulted.”
The meeting decided to bring other laws and to give sufficient business to the parliament.
CPN (UML) Chair and Prime Minister Oli, Nepali Congress President Deuba, UML’s Vice-Chair and Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, NC’s Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka, Chairperson of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal, Mahantha Thakur, Chairperson of Nagarik Unmukti Party, Ranjita Shrestha, Chairperson of Janamat Party, Dr Chandra Kant (CK) Raut, leader of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Raj Kishor Yadav, chief whips of parliamentary parties of the ruling parties were present at the meeting.
On the occasion, PM Oli shared that ordinances issued by the government in the recent past to serve the people and to proceed with the development works will be tabled on the first day of the parliament meeting and the replacement bills will be tabled soon. The winter session of the Federal Parliament is commencing on January 31.
