The former Prime Minister took time to make it clear that the party had remained silent in regard to the case relating to the dissolution of the House of Representatives as it was sub-judice in the court. The party which had struggled for the parliamentary system and democracy was happy over the reinstatement of the parliament.

He further said the party's 14th General Convention will be held this coming August/September.

He shed light on the role of Nidhi in the democratic movements at home.

Similarly, NC Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi said the party would play a responsible role in the reinstated House of Representatives. Stating the party had welcomed the SC decision, he was of the view that the incumbent Prime Minister should resign from the post on moral ground.

Parliamentary procedures follow the non-violence and peaceful course.
