Students organisations affiliated with various political parties staged a demonstration against dissolution of the House of Representatives, at Exhibition Road in Kathmandu today.
Nepal Students Union close to the Nepali Congress, ANNFSU (revolutionary) closed to CPN (Maoist Centre), Socialist Students Union, affiliated to the Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal and ANNFSU (sixth), close to the Rastriya Janamorcha organised a joint programme of protest against the decision of the present government to dissolve the house for the second time.
The demonstration was held by following the health protocol considering the risk of COVID-19, said ANNFSU leader Arati Lama.
It may be noted that the case of dissolution of the House of Representatives is current sub judice at the Supreme Court.
