Khum Bahadur BK in Shuklagandaki and Uma Gotame in Bhanu have been elected to the post out of 10 municipalities of the district. BK was elected from the CPN (Maoist Center) and Gotame from the Nepali Congress.

Meanwhile, even though the counting of votes has been completed in the district, four municipalities have not yet submitted their ballot papers to the concerned bodies. According to the District Election Office, ballot papers of Devghat, Ghiring, Shuklagandaki and Beas municipalities have not been submitted.
