Four ministers in the Bagmati Province government announced their resignations from their respective posts on Friday.
They are Jagannath Thapaliya (minister for labor, employment, and transport), Ekalal Shrestha (labor, employment, and transport), Rameshwor Shrestha (health), and Keshab Prasad Pokhrel( agriculture, cooperative, and livestock development). The outgoing ministers represent the CPN (UML) in the provincial government and they announced their resignations in today's PA session, citing the latest political equation at the national. With this development, Chief Minister Shalikram Jammakattel is seeking a vote of confidence today itself.
