Amrita Kumari Sharma, Assistant Election Officer of the Office of the President and Vice President Electoral Officer informed that 311 members of the Federal Parliament and 518 members of the State Assembly had voted till 3 pm.
In the constitution, there is a provision regarding the election process and term of office of the Vice President to be the same as that of the President
