KATHMANDU: The police have intensified arrests following the pro-monarch protests that took place in Tinkune, Kathmandu, on Friday.
Among those detained are Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leaders, including Rabindra Mishra and Dhawal Shumsher Rana, who were actively involved in the demonstrations.
According to Kathmandu Police spokesperson Apilraj Bohara, the number of arrests has reached 51 as of Friday morning, with further investigations underway.
The Kathmandu Police have emphasized that individuals engaged in what they describe as “inhuman, unjust, and illegal criminal activities” will face legal action in accordance with the law.
