KATHMANDU: The local administration has deployed police at the office of CPN-Maoist Center after a group supporting the monarchy resorted to arson.

The local administration has increased police deployment at the Maoist headquarters in Parisdada after royalists set fire to media houses, private properties and offices of political parties.

The royalists had set fire to the party office of the opposition CPN-Unified Socialist Party and moved towards the Maoist party office.
