KATHMANDU: Security arrangements have been tightened at Chyasal, the party headquarters of the CPN-UML party office after royalists set fire to the party office of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party.
The situation has become tense after the royalists took a violent turn in the protest in Tinkune. The Kathmandu District Administration Office has imposed a curfew in the Tinkune area after the royalists’ protest took a violent turn.
The curfew order was issued after 4 pm on Friday. Curfew has been imposed in Koteshwor, Tinkune and Sinamangal areas, but the royalists are still protesting.
