Police have arrested 17 people involved in playing dice. Based on a tip-off, police have raided a house of Tilak Ram Yogi Tharu, a resident of Bhagda in Madhyabindu Municipality-8, east of Nawalparasi, and arrested Suresh Mahatto including 17 people.

A police team deployed by the district police office confiscated Rs 48,270 on cash including IRR 500 and 16 pieces dices, expedited further investigation.
