KATHMANDU: The body of Sabin Maharjan of Kirtipur, who died in the protests in Tinkune, has been handed over to the family.

The Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital handed over the body to the family a while ago. A post-mortem was conducted on Sabin’s body today.

During the post-mortem, it was found that he had a bullet wound in his body. According to police sources, the bullet exited from his right arm near the elbow, through his abdomen, and through his back.

He died of a bullet injury during a protest by royalists on 15 Chaitra. After the post-mortem, preparations are underway to cremate his body at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
