LALITUR: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a scheduled power outage in multiple areas of Lalitpur today.

According to an official notice, electricity supply will be disrupted in locations served by the Patan feeder under the Pulchowk Distribution Center.

The affected areas include Bhani Mandal, Ekantakuna, Lamachaur, Summit Hotel, Bakhundol, Old Minister Quarter, Jhamsikhel, and Arun Thapa Chowk, where power will be cut from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

The NEA stated that the outage is necessary for technical maintenance at the 132 kV substation in Patan.

Apologizing for the inconvenience, the authority assured consumers that the maintenance work will be completed as quickly as possible, and power may be restored ahead of schedule.
