KOKLKATA: There is an invisible rivalry going on between Gangasagar vs Kumbh Mela on the issue of recognition of the national fair. A few days ago, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself went and saw every preparation for the Gangasagar Mela.

Along with this, she has repeatedly accused the central government of giving crores of rupees to the Kumbh Mela and not giving a single paisa to Gangasagar. In this situation, state Speaker Biman Banerjee got an invitation to attend Mahakumbh Mela.

Uttar Pradesh Speaker Satish Mahana invited him. Although Biman Babu said that he would not be able to attend the Kumbh Mela due to personal work even if he accepted the invitation. However, he wished the Kumbh Mela to be held smoothly.
