Aaha-RaraPokhara Gold Cup: Uzbekistan’s Black Bulls in the final

KASKI: Uzbekistan’s Black Bulls FC has entered the final of the international inter-club invitational Aaha-Pokhara Gold Cup football tournament being held in Pokhara.

The Black Bulls reached the final after defeating Nepal’s Three Star Club by 4-0 in the second semi-final of the tournament held at Pokhara Stadium. The tournament organised by Sahara Club Pokhara started on February 4.

The Black Bulls will play for the title against the Nepal Police Club on February 15.

The Black Bulls, who came to play football for the first time in Pokhara, defeated the five-time champion Three Stars by scoring one goal in the first half and three in the second half of the match.

In the 25th minute of the match, the Black Bulls took the lead with a goal by Kubonchek Olimov. In the 58th minute of the match, Asifbek Orifjonov doubled the lead while in the 63rd minute of the match, Satorov scored a goal to make it 3-0.

Likewise, in the 87th minute of the match, Saidjamol scored another goal to seal a place in the final for his team.

The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 1.2 million along with a shield, medal and certificate, while the runner-up will receive a shield, medal and certificate along with 600,000 rupees.

Scooter will be awarded to the best player of the competition. The tournament’s top goal scorer, best defender, goalkeeper, midfielder, striker and coach will receive a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each.
