Nepali-origin footballer Asmita Ale has been selected into the England U-23 squad for the friendly match against Spain and Belgium.

She currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Women’s Super League having come through the Aston Villa academy after joining them at the age of eight.

She has already represented England at U-17, U-18, and U-19 levels.
