Namche Youth Club defeated Juving Sherpa Kudik by 3-2 in the semi-final match of Lhosar Cup football held on Friday at the Sanagoucharan sports ground in Kathmandu and entered the finals. Nima Tasi Sherpa of Namche Yuva Club was declared Man of the Match.
Today, there will be a match for third place between Amadalam Yuva Club and Juving Sherpa Kudik.
After that, the final match between Thamichhowa Football Club and Namche Yuva Club will be held today.
The "Khumbu Lhosar Cup" started last Saturday during the Sherpa community's New Year and Lhosar festival. This is the 13th edition of the 'Khumbu Lhosar Cup' organized by the Khumjung Youth Club every year.
The competition's winner will receive a trophy and medal along with 1 lakh cash. Similarly, the second team will receive a trophy and medal with 50,000 cash and the third team will receive a trophy and medal with 25,000 cash.
