The second 'Ten Steels Media Cup Futsal-2078' is to be organized among the media houses and media persons of Rupandehi. Global Voice, run by Global Media House, is going to organize the competition on March 6. It was informed at a press meet held today that more than a dozen media houses of the district would participate in the competition and preparations for the competition were in the final stage.
Gautam Bhusal, manager of the organizing body, said that the competition is expected to help develop brotherhood among media persons and media houses as well as provide more new energy. He informed that the futsal competition has been organized for the second time in a regular manner considering the suggestions and feedback received from the competition organized since last year.
The first prize will be Rs. 25,000 and the second prize will be Rs. 15,000 including cup, medal and certificate. Similarly, the best player from the department will get Rs. 3,500 and the top scorer, best goal keeper and best forward will get Rs. 2,500 each along with cup, medal and certificate. It is estimated that it will cost more than four lakh rupees to complete the competition. It is said that a friendly game will also be organized among women journalists in the competition.
