Mulpani Cricket Ground becomes the second venue of Nepal to ever host an ODI match since the semi-final of the ACC Premier Cup between Oman and UAE was held there with full ODI status.
Umpire Sanjay Gurung became the 4th Nepali umpire to officiate in ODIs after he officiated in that match. Buddhi Pradhan, Durga Nath Subedi, and Vinay Kumar Jha had already officiated in ODIs before.
